2024/2025学年英语语言学者项目（English Language Fellow Program）开放申请

英语语言学者项目（English Language Fellow Program）是美国国务院教育与文化事务局开展的人文交流项目。该项目为期10个月，旨在选派美国具有英语教学领域硕士或博士学位，和丰富英语教学经验的学者到世界各地高等院校、教育管理部门及其他教育机构从事英语教学相关交流。每年，约有150位语言学者参与本项目，前往世界80多个国家和地区开展交流。他们在接待院校与师生分享自己的专长，同时也收获了当地教育和文化的经历，并在项目结束后与国内社区和同行分享这些宝贵经历。 

2023年已是英语语言学者项目在中国的第30年。在这30年里，有超过150位语言学者在中国22个省、自治区和直辖市开展英语教学交流，惠及成千上万的英语教师和学生。

The Regional English Language Office is now accepting proposals for English Language Fellow Program for Academic Year 2024-2025.  

The English Language Fellow Program, funded by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State, sends ors in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) to participate in ten-month exchanges abroad at host country universities, ministries of education, and other educational institutions around the world. English Language Fellows share their expertise andengage with the community,while participating in a professional development opportunity. Upon returning to the United States, they share their experiences and acquired knowledge with their communities and professional colleagues. On average, 150 EL Fellows take part in the program yearly in over 80 countries.  

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of English Language Fellow program in China. Over the past 30 years, more than 150 Fellows have been deployed to over 22 provinces in China, which has impacted hundreds of thousands of English teachers and learners. 

The program is now open for proposals for academic year 2024/2025, and the deadline is September 26, 2023. The Regional English Language Office works through the Public Affairs Sections of the US Embassy and US Consulates to create and implement projects and programs related to English language teaching methodology by providing training opportunities, expertise and materials.
