With the Shenzhen roadshow organized in the afternoon of September 9, the three cities of Interwine Italian Wineries Roadshow came to a successful conclusion. A batch of award-winning wineries from Italy made their debut in the Chinese market through the Interwine roadshow program, meanwhile the exhibiting of many top Italian wines attracted a large number of importers to taste. The crowded event site reflects the heat of Italian wines in the Chinese market, bringing confidence to importers and warming up the Italian wine section of the 31st Interwine China which will be organized on November 16-18.
The Interwine Italian Wineries Roadshow started at Wuhan on September 5th, and then went south to Guangzhou on September 7th and Shenzhen on September 9th. Wuhan is a mega city in Central China with a population of over 10 million, and is one of the core wine markets in Central China. Guangzhou and Shenzhen are international cities with the highest overall level of development in China. These cities have a relatively mature wine consumption environment, with sufficient market attention and demand for Italian wines.
With the Interwine Italian Wineries Roadshow, seven award-winning Italian wineries made their debut in China, attracted a lot of attention from visited importers. These seven wineries included Borgo Verde, Cantina Del Frignano, Celledoni Vini, La Fattoria Lavacchio, Fiorotto, La Cantina Sant'Evasio and Celledoni Vini. La Fattoria Lavacchio, Fiorotto, Cantina Sant'Evasio and Altamura Distilleries. They have participated in the Merano Wine Festival and won WineHunter awards in Italy. And they have brought their success to China. Importers spoke highly of their wine quality, and actively communicated face-to-face with winery representatives

In addition to these newcomers to the Chinese market, a strong lineup of premium wineries made this event a must-visit for Italian wine buyers and importers. For example, Tignanello & Guado al Tasso from Marchesi Antinori represent the top quality of Italian wines, while Enoitalia, Poderi Colla, Bixio Produttor, Cesari, Giusti, Villa Degli Olmi, Barone, Feudo Arancio and other Italian wineries and merchants presented at the events, with their wine selections from most of the regions in Italy, from Friuli Venezia Giulia in the north to Puglia and Sicily in the south.
The concurrent masterclasses delivered knowledge and promoted Italian wine culture. "Sicily - The Next World Class Wine Region" brought an in-depth experience of this unique region in the form of blind tasting. The "Masterclass of Veneto Wine Region" led attendees into the hometown of Amarone and Prosecco. "Italy's Indigenous Varieties without ABBBC" introduced the diversity of Italy's proud indigenous grape varieties. And "The Way of Raisin Wine" masterclass talks about the concentrated beauty of Italy's unique wines made from dry off grapes.
The success of Interwine Italian Wineries Roadshow has warmed up the Italian wine market, and has given importers the greatest confidence in promoting Italian wines. Italian wines will also be one of the major sectors of the 31st Interwine China to be organized on November 16th-18th.
