  中西工商洽谈会在马德里成功举办

     当地时间5月21日下午，中西工商洽谈会于马德里成功举办。前任西班牙首相何塞·路易斯·萨帕特罗、中国驻西班牙大使姚敬、上海中欧中心理事长潘锋出席会议并致辞。会议宣布成立欧中经济合作与发展理事会，由何塞·路易斯·萨帕特罗任创会主席、潘锋任理事长、拉斐尔·加兰任该理事会秘书长。与会人员共计 60余名中西企业代表出席。前任西班牙首相何塞·路易斯·萨帕特罗指出，发起成立欧中经济合作与发展理事会，旨在促进在社会各个层面更积极、更有成效的关系，双方深信欧洲和中国应该成为全球和平、合作和共同进步的重要推动者。

     中国驻西班牙大使姚敬指出，中西关系健康顺利发展，根本在于双方秉持相互尊重、平等互利的建交初心，坚持走不同文化、不同制度国家友好相处的正确道路。中方愿同西方加强产业对接，拓展经贸合作，让更多成果惠及两国人民。

     上海中欧中心理事长潘锋表示，近年来中西两国经贸合作卓有成效，希望通过该理事会的成立，积极探讨中欧多种形式的务实合作，营造中西双方合作良好的政策环境，加强与西班牙在经贸、文化等多领域的对接交流，助力中西经贸合作高水平、高质量发展。

  The China-Spain Business Conference Held in Madrid

On the afternoon of May 21 local time, the China-Spain Business Conference was successfully held in Madrid. Former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Chinese Ambassador to Spain Yao Jing, and Chairman of CEPCTE Pan Feng attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The conference announced the establishment of the Euro-China Economic Cooperation and Development Council, with José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero serving as the founding president, Pan Feng as the chairman, and Rafael Galán as the secretary-general. More than 60 representatives from Chinese and Spanish enterprises attended the meeting.

Former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero pointed out that the initiation of the Euro-China Economic Cooperation and Development Council aims to promote more active and effective relations at all levels of society. Both sides firmly believe that Europe and China should become key promoters of global peace, cooperation, and mutual progress.

Chinese Ambassador to Spain Yao Jing noted that the healthy and smooth development of China-Spain relations is fundamentally based on the mutual respect, equality, and mutual benefit upheld since the establishment of diplomatic relations. China is willing to strengthen industrial alignment with Spain, expand economic and trade cooperation, and bring more benefits to the people of both countries.

Pan Feng stated that in recent years, economic and trade cooperation between China and Spain has been fruitful. He expressed hope that the establishment of the council would actively explore various forms of pragmatic cooperation between China and Europe, create a favorable policy environment for cooperation between China and Spain, and enhance exchanges and alignment in the economic, trade, and cultural fields, thereby assisting in the high-level and high-quality development of China-Spain economic and trade cooperation.
