SG Wei Zhaohui meets with USS Someth Somnea

On July 26, Dr. Wei Zhaohui, Secretary-General of CAEXPO Secretariat, had a meeting with Ms. Someth Somnea, the visiting Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia. Both sides reached high consensus on further strengthening cooperation in exhibitions in a bid to elevate the economic and trade ties of the two countries into a new level.

Dr. Wei expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the longstanding and strong support of the government of Cambodia to the CAEXPO. It is particularly worth mentioning that former Prime Minister Hun Sen had participated in the CAEXPO in person or on-line for 14 times, and Prime Minister Hun Manet headed a high-level delegation to attend the CAEXPO last year, all reflecting the high importance attached by the Cambodian government to this trade event. The CAEXPO Secretariat will remain fully supportive of Cambodia’s participation in the forthcoming 21st CAEXPO.

Ms. Someth said that the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia will invest more efforts to organize more Cambodian companies to join the CAEXPO this year, and the Cambodia pavilions will be introduced with more new concepts and creative ideas, where diverse and top quality products of the country will be showcased.

Mr. Liang Yiguang, Deputy Secretary-General of the CAEXPO Secretaria, attended the meeting.
