  第七届中国国际进口博览会在沪开幕

     11月5日上午，以“新时代，共享未来”为主题的第七届中国国际进口博览会在上海拉开帷幕。国务院总理李强出席开幕式，并发表主旨演讲。

     李强表示，举办进博会是中国扩大开放合作的重要举措，是我们面向世界作出的郑重承诺。从2018年至今，进博会年年举办，从未间断。如果说首届进博会是中国向世界发出的单向邀约，之后的每一届便是中国和世界双向奔赴的共同约定，反映了大家对开放合作的共同心愿。当今世界，百年变局加速演进，逆全球化思潮抬头，单边主义、保护主义明显上升，全球和平和发展事业面临的不稳定、不确定因素增多。越是在这样的情况下，我们越要坚持开放、扩大开放、提升开放，推动持久的和平稳定、发展繁荣。

 The 7th China International Import Expo opens in Shanghai

On the morning of November 5th, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), themed of “New Era, Shared Future”, kicked off in Shanghai. Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speech.

Li Qiang stressed that organizing the Fair is an important initiative of China to further expand its opening-up and cooperation, and it is also a solemn commitment to the world. From 2018 till now, CIIE was held every year without interruption. If the first Fair is a one-way invitation issued by China to the world, each subsequent session is a common agreement between China and the world beyond charter a common path for openness and cooperation. Today’s world is undergoing profound changes that are accelerating at fast pace, anti-globalization, unilateralism and protectionism is emerging, the lofty cause of global peace and development is facing even more instability and uncertainties. Under this circumstances, we must insist on opening up, expanding and upgrading our openness to promote lasting peace and stability, development and prosperity.

Chairman of the Europe-China Economic Development and Cooperation Council and Chairman of the CEPCTE, Pan Feng, attended the opening ceremony and held in-depth talks with provincial and municipal leaders, ambassadors of various countries in China as well as outstanding entrepreneurs.
