VICENTINI

DE-AIRING PUG MILLS

Application: tableware sector

The Vicentini de-airing pug mills, well known for its adaptability and efficiency in all sectors of the ceramic industry are used for extruding ceramic clay body in homogenous and compact form. They are available in cast iron for earthenware and terracotta in general, or in stainless steel for porcelain or materials which are subjects to contamination by iron oxide.

VICENTINI TURBO-BLUNGERS

Application: sanitaryware. tiles, tableware sectors

The turbo-blungers are used for the rapid dissolution of the raw materials, with an 80% reduction in the dissolving time compared to the normal blungers with propeller. They operate with a special wheel (rotor) located at the bottom of the tank, which projects the slip against a crown with fixed paddles (stator).

Application: tableware, pottery sectors

Suitable for the shaping of round articles with profile in undercut by means of metal or plaster mould. The machine carries out automatically the operations of pressing, lateral shifting (shaping), return to centre, rising of calliper and extraction.

DE-AIRING PLASTER MIXER PLANT

Application: sanitaryware, tableware sector

This plaster plant is studied for a homogeneous mixing of the plaster powder in water by mean of a vacuum mixing technology. All the most important operation and steps of the mixing procedure are carried out automatically by the control panel  such as weighing of plaster and water in order to respect precisely the recipe settled in the control panel by the operator.

Thanks to this system the life of working moulds will be longer compared to traditional methods and thanks to high precisions measurements of all the parameters it will be possible to reproduce stable conditions and quality standards.

SETEC UPWARD

Application: sanitaryware

The machine has been studied to perform the internal glazing of some parts of the WC which are usually complicated to glaze, such as the siphon and rim. It can be use for any type of WC: wall-hung, pedestal, one-piece and close couple.

The siphon and the rim are not easily reacheable by the spray of manual or robotic glazing; this system allows a homogeneous distribution of the glaze on the inside of the vase, covering all the surfaces and optimizing the production cycle; both in terms of time and in terms of quality.

The glaze feeding into the WC is done automatically from above, by means of a suspended tank, which makes possible a constant flow of glaze by gravity. This top-feeding system, unlike the bottom-feeding, avoids deposits of dust and dirt on the internal surfaces of the WC.
