阿普尔顿特种玻璃（太仓）有限公司是一家规模化的U型玻璃厂家，前身为英国皮尔金顿集团在华的独资企业皮尔金顿太阳能（太仓）有限公司。企业集玻璃研发、制造、加工、销售和特种玻璃进出口贸易为一体。公司位于紧靠上海的江苏省太仓市陆渡镇，距虹桥交通枢纽40公里，于2006年成立，2008年投产。阿普尔顿年产能为1万吨超白U型建筑玻璃，该产品引进了皮尔金顿德国的先进工艺，无论是性能还是外观都处于世界领先水平。阿普尔顿可以同时生产超白、普白、宽幅度（500mm）、夹丝、超长全钢化（11000mm）、Low-E U玻。

此外，公司十分注重新产品的研发与创新，在不断完善传统U型玻璃工艺的同时，又开发出了多层安装、吊挂安装、紫晶硬镀膜等技术，并且都已经获得了专利。

产品介绍

紫晶镀膜U玻和黄水晶U玻：

紫晶U型玻璃和黄水晶U型玻璃的出现首先在继“超白”、“普白”（绿色）之后，给用户和设计师提供了一种全新的颜色选择。配合上阿普尔顿独特的夹丝工艺以及各种花纹，可以搭配出多种视觉效果。紫晶和黄水晶U玻就是让颜色附着在U型玻璃的内表面，使用高温着色工艺，因此在阳光暴晒下不会发生色变，不褪色。

超长钢化U玻：

U型玻璃的全钢化本就是一项难题，超长U玻的全钢化在国内更是史无前例。公司克服多项技术困难，成功实现了超长U玻的钢化，并且钢化出长达11m的U型玻璃并付诸应用。

Low-e U型玻璃：

U型玻璃常常被大面积应用于外立面幕墙，除了提供美观的视觉效果外，有时还需要承担保温隔热的作用，为了解决这方面的问题，公司开发出了Low-e U型玻璃。阿普尔顿“优尼普”系列Low-E镀膜U型玻璃，产品型号为“Plus 1.7”。双面对扣安装时，此型号U型玻璃的Ug值能够达到1.8W/m²K，除此之外还具有一定的阻隔紫外线的作用。

Appleton Specialty Glass (Taicang) Co., Ltd. is a large-scale manufacturer of U profiled glass. It was formerly known as Pilkington Solar (Taicang) Co., Ltd., a wholly foreign-owned enterprise in China of the British Pilkington Group . The company integrates glass research and development, manufacturing, processing, sales, and the import/export trade of specialty glass .

The company is located in Ludu Town, Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, which is close to Shanghai and approximately 40 kilometers from the Hongqiao transportation hub . It was established in 2006 and commenced production in 2008 .

Appleton has an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of ultra-clear U profiled glass for construction . This product line incorporates advanced German technology from Pilkington, placing it at the world's leading level in terms of both performance and appearance . The company is capable of producing a diverse range of U profiled glass, including ultra-clear, standard clear, extra-wide (500mm), wired, extra-long fully tempered (11000mm), and Low-E U glass .

Furthermore, the company places strong emphasis on the research, development, and innovation of new products . While continuously improving traditional U profiled glass processes, it has also developed patented technologies such as multi-layer installation, suspended installation, and amethyst hard coating .

Product Introduction: Amethyst and Citrine Coated U Profiled Glass

The introduction of Amethyst and Citrine U Profiled Glass provides users and designers with entirely new color options, expanding beyond the conventional "ultra-clear" and "standard clear (green)" varieties. When combined with Appleton’s unique wired glass technology and diverse patterns, these products can achieve a wide range of visual effects .

Both Amethyst and Citrine U Profiled Glass are produced using a high-temperature coloring process, which ensures the color is permanently fused onto the inner surface of the glass. This advanced technique guarantees that the glass will not undergo color change or fading, even under prolonged exposure to direct sunlight .

Extra-Long Fully Tempered U Glass:

The full tempering of U-shaped glass is inherently challenging, and achieving full tempering for extra-long U glass was unprecedented in the industry. The company overcame multiple technical difficulties to successfully realize the tempering of extra-long U glass, producing and implementing U-shaped glass with a length of up to 11 meters .

Low-E U Profiled Glass:

U profiled glass is often used extensively in building facade curtain walls. In addition to providing an aesthetically pleasing visual effect, it sometimes also needs to serve thermal insulation purposes. To address this requirement, the company has developed Low-E U profiled glass .

Appleton's "Unip" series Low-E coated U profiled glass, with the product model "Plus 1.7", achieves a Ug value of 1.8 W/m2K when installed in a double-sided face-to-face configuration. Furthermore, it offers a certain degree of ultraviolet (UV) radiation blocking capability .
