     时光渐近，盛事将启！距离第二届地理标志产品国际博览会盛大开幕，仅剩20天！各项筹备工作全面冲刺、全线就绪，一场高规格、国际化的中欧地标产业盛会即将在北京顺义重磅绽放。

     本次盛会恰逢中欧建交51周年、《中欧地理标志协定》生效五周年双重重要节点，由中国欧洲经济技术合作协会主办，欧盟驻华代表团、爱尔兰驻华大使馆、克罗地亚驻华大使馆重磅支持，是年度中欧地标经贸领域极具影响力的标杆性活动。

     博览会开幕式暨中欧地理标志协定论坛定于2026年9月19日，在北京顺义·国测国际会议会展中心隆重举办，活动以“臻品地标·智享生活”为核心主题，搭建中欧政企对接、品牌展示、贸易互通、产业赋能的顶级专业化交流平台。

     本届展会规格全面跃升，首次设立爱尔兰、克罗地亚双主宾国，打造2700㎡精品展示空间、四大特色主题展馆，荟萃全球千余种名优地理标志产品。活动将汇聚多国驻华使节、部委领导、行业权威专家、国内外龙头企业代表齐聚顺义，同步开展高端主旨论坛、地标精品展陈、产业深度对接等系列重磅活动。商务部、国家发改委、农业农村部等多部委领导将莅临现场指导，为中欧地理标志产业双向互通、高质量发展赋能聚力。

  20 Days to Go | Preparations in Full Swing for the 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo in Shunyi, Beijing

The countdown is on, and the stage is set! With just 20 days to go before the grand opening of the 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo (GIPE), preparations have entered the final sprint and are now fully on track. A high-level, international event dedicated to China-EU cooperation in the Geographical Indications (GI) sector is set to take place in Shunyi, Beijing.

The Expo comes at two significant milestones: the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union and the fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the China-EU Agreement on Geographical Indications. Organized by the China-Europe Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation (CEATEC), with strong support from the Delegation of the European Union to China, the Embassy of Ireland in China, and the Embassy of Croatia in China, the Expo is set to become one of the year’s leading events for China-EU economic and trade cooperation in the GI sector.

The Opening Ceremony of the Expo and the China-EU Geographical Indications Agreement Forum will be held on September 19, 2026, at the Guoce International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shunyi, Beijing. Under the theme “Premium GI Products · Smart Living Experience,” the event will provide a high-level, professional platform for government and business engagement, brand showcasing, trade and commercial exchange, and industrial cooperation between China and the EU.

This year’s Expo will be significantly expanded in both scale and international participation. For the first time, Ireland and Croatia will serve as the two Guest Countries of Honour, while a 2,700-square-meter premium exhibition area will feature four themed exhibition halls showcasing more than 1,000 renowned Geographical Indication products from around the world. The event will bring together diplomatic envoys from various countries in China, government officials, leading experts and scholars, and representatives of leading enterprises from China and abroad in Shunyi. A series of high-profile activities will be held alongside the Expo, including high-level keynote forums, premium GI product showcases, and in-depth business matchmaking and industry exchange. Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other government departments are expected to attend and provide guidance, further contributing to China-EU cooperation, two-way connectivity, and high-quality development in the Geographical Indications sector.

Leveraging Shunyi’s strategic advantages as a key hub for Beijing’s airport-based economy and opening-up, the Expo will further facilitate the two-way circulation of GI products between China and Europe, accelerate the exchange and integration of high-quality GI brands from China and around the world, and explore new opportunities for the internationalization, branding, and market-oriented development of the Geographical Indications industry.

All major preparations are now entering their final stage, including guest invitations, exhibitor recruitment, venue construction, business matchmaking, and program rehearsals. Every detail is being carefully refined, with all operational systems being put fully in place to ensure the successful delivery of the Expo.
