  16 Days to Go | You Are Invited! The 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo to Open in Shunyi This Autumn

Autumn is here, and the much-anticipated 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo (GIPE) is just around the corner! With only 16 days to go before its official opening, the countdown is on.

Set to take place in Shunyi, Beijing, this national-level, international event for China-EU economic and trade cooperation is more than a high-level platform for government-business engagement and international exchange. It is also a free public event open to all, offering visitors the opportunity to explore, taste, experience, and purchase high-quality products from China and around the world. It promises to be a vibrant celebration of quality products, culture, and everyday life for the whole community.

The Expo coincides with two important milestones: the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union and the fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the China-EU Agreement on Geographical Indications. Organized by the China-Europe Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation (CEATEC), with strong support from the Delegation of the European Union to China, the Embassy of Ireland in China, and the Embassy of Croatia in China, this year’s Expo stands out for its high-level participation, strong international representation, diverse range of premium products, and rich program of activities. It is set to be one of the most prominent international exhibitions in Shunyi this year, offering local residents an excellent opportunity to explore high-quality GI products from China and around the world. This year’s Expo has been significantly expanded and upgraded. More than 1,000 renowned Geographical Indication products from Europe and across China will be showcased, including:

A High-Level Expo for Everyone — Open to the Public

The Expo will be open to the general public throughout the event, with members of the public, families, and industry enthusiasts all welcome to make reservations and visit the exhibition.
