Over more than two decades of development in industry and scientific research, NEWSUN has earned several national honors. It was selected as one of the first National-Level Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It has also been recognized as a National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization, a National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, and a National Green Factory.

NEWSUN continues to heavily invest in R&D. It has established two R&D bases, one in Pujiang, Chengdu, and the other in Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-Town, forming a comprehensive system for independent innovation. Guided by six chief scientists, its R&D platform comprises the Biopesticide Innovation Center, Microbial Engineering Innovation Center, Biofunction Testing Center, Soil Environment and Remediation Technology Innovation Center, Gene Editing and Molecular Breeding Technology Innovation Center, Biological Plant Growth Regulator and Biostimulant Innovation Center, Plant Stem Cell Synthetic Biology Innovation Center, Frontier Research Center for Biomanufacturing, and Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation Center.

NEWSUN has also established a National-Level Key Laboratory for Soil Environment and Remediation Technology, an Academician (Expert) Innovation Workstation, a Sichuan Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, a Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, and joint laboratories with universities and research institutions. It maintains long-term research partnerships with China Agricultural University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tsinghua University, Sichuan University, and other institutions.

NEWSUN has a strong R&D team with more than 100 full-time R&D personnel, over 40% of whom hold a master’s/doctoral degree or an intermediate/senior professional title. To date, the Company has filed more than 400 biotechnology patent applications worldwide, of which 90% are invention patents and nearly 30% are international invention patents. In recent years, it has led or participated in nearly 10 key agricultural science and technology R&D programs under China’s 13th and 14th Five-Year Plans. Its R&D achievements have received more than ten nationals, ministerial, and provincial science and technology awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award, and the DBN Science and Technology Grand Prize. Dozens of the Company’s technical products have obtained legal registrations, as well as organic input certifications, in China, the European Union and the United States.

01　新朝阳原创气候管理类生物技术

全球首个应用级植物信号分子调控技术产品COR冠菌素、天然产物植物内源调控技术产品14-羟基天然芸苔素甾醇，增强作物抗逆性，提高单产，促进转色增糖。

NEWSUN’s Original Climate Management Biotechnology includes Coronatine (COR), the world’s first application-grade plant signaling molecule regulation product, and 14-hydroxylated natural brassinosteroid, a natural-product-based endogenous plant regulation technology. These products enhance crop stress tolerance, increase yields, promote fruit coloration and improve sugar accumulation.

02　PLTAMCC^TM生物农药创新平台

基于PLTAMCC^TM活性分子群共同提取技术、微生物与合成生物技术，原创研发CE-藜芦、CE-大蒜素、CE-小檗碱、CE-蛇床子素、CE-香芹酚、CE-苦参碱、CE-苦皮藤素、CE-除虫菊素等天然化合物系列生物农药，防效、成本均可与化学农药媲美，生态友好性优于大多数化药；产品涵盖生物杀菌剂、生物杀虫剂、生物杀螨剂、生物除草剂、生物脱叶剂，助力作物病虫草害绿色生物防控。

Built on PLTAMCC^TM Active Molecular Complex Co-extraction Technology and on microbial and synthetic biology technologies, NEWSUN has independently developed a series of natural-compound-based biopesticides, including CE-Veratrum, CE-Allicin, CE-Berberine, CE-Osthole, CE-Carvacrol, CE-Matrine, CE-Celangulin and CE-Pyrethrins. Their control efficacy and cost are comparable to those of chemical pesticides, while their eco-friendliness is superior to that of most chemical pesticides. The portfolio covers biofungicides, bioinsecticides, bioacaricides, bioherbicides and biological defoliants, supporting green bio-control of crop diseases, insect pests and weeds.

03　GeneNavX^TM功能生物刺激素创新平台

基于GeneNavX^TM功能性生物刺激素与合成生物全景创新平台，创新研发出气候管理、肥料节能增效、园艺管理类生物技术，涵盖PPS花粉多糖、EPS根际菌多糖、APS黄芪多糖、茶氨酸、苣氨酸、橙皮寡糖、矮稼素、微藻蛋白肽等新型生物刺激素，激发作物潜能，增强作物韧性，赋能农业产量潜力。

Based on the GeneNavX^TM Functional Biostimulants and Synthetic Biology Panoramic Innovation Platform, NEWSUN has innovatively developed biological technologies for climate management, fertilizer efficiency enhancement, and horticultural management. These cover novel biostimulants such as PPS Pollen Polysaccharides, EPS Rhizosphere Bacterial Polysaccharides, APS Astragalus Polysaccharides, L-Theanine, Borage Amino Acids, Orange Peel Oligosaccharides, Ai-Jia-Su (anti-leggy agent), and Microalgal Protein Peptides, stimulating crop potential, enhancing crop resilience and empowering agricultural yield potential.

04　土壤生物修护技术创新平台

创制研发了土壤酸化、盐渍化修复，土壤团粒结构修复及重金属污染修复等生物修护技术产品，助力耕地质量提升，筑牢粮食安全根基，促进农业健康可持续发展。

NEWSUN has developed a range of biological remediation technologies and products for soil acidification and salinization remediation, soil aggregate structure restoration, and heavy metal pollution remediation. These technologies support the improvement of cultivated land quality, consolidate the foundation of food security, and promote healthy and sustainable development of agriculture.

05　GFP-6S体系

公司在全球率先提出健康植保6S农作物生物低碳技术应用服务体系（GFP-6S），涵盖土壤健康管理、生长调控与逆境管理、生物防治、营养品质提升、产量管理、农产品质量与储运六大环节，用标准服务农业，全方位保障并实现农产品“0”农残和有机农业、道地中药材产业的健康发展。

NEWSUN is the first in the world to propose the Healthy Crop Protection 6S Agricultural Biological Low-Carbon Technology Application Service System (GFP-6S for short). It comprises six major areas: soil health management, growth regulation and stress management, bio-control, nutritional quality enhancement, yield management, and agricultural product quality, storage, and transportation. Through standardized agricultural services, the GFP-6S System supports the production of agricultural products with zero pesticide residues and the sustainable development of organic agriculture and authentic traditional Chinese medicinal herbs.
