     距离第二届地理标志产品国际博览会暨中欧地理标志协定论坛开幕仅剩10天！盛会启幕已经进入最后冲刺倒计时，嘉宾邀约、展馆搭建、展品布展、客商配对、论坛流程、媒体宣传等各项筹备工作全面进入收官决战阶段，这场承载中欧经贸合作重要使命的高规格国际盛会，即将于9月19日在北京顺义国测国际会议会展中心隆重登场。

     本届博览会适逢中欧建交51周年、《中欧地理标志协定》生效五周年两大关键时间节点，由中国欧洲经济技术合作协会主办，欧盟驻华代表团、爱尔兰驻华大使馆、克罗地亚驻华大使馆重点支持，是国内地理标志领域规格最高、影响力最强的中欧双向经贸交流平台，具有十分重要的现实意义与时代价值。《中欧地理标志协定》作为中欧之间里程碑式的重大贸易成果，为数百项中欧特色地标产品提供高水平知识产权保护，推动双方特色产业互融互通。本次博览会正是协定落地实施的重要实践载体，既是中欧优质地标品牌集中展示的窗口，更是深化中欧产业对接、贸易往来、人文交流的关键纽带，对打通中欧地标产品双向流通通道、助力中外企业拓展市场、赋能产业高质量发展发挥不可替代的作用。

     本届展会实现规格全面跃升，首次设立爱尔兰、克罗地亚双主宾国，规划2700㎡精品展示空间，打造双主宾国、顺义精品馆、欧盟馆四大特色主题展馆，荟萃全球千余种名优地理标志产品。本届博览会将邀请多国驻华使馆代表、国家部委相关领导、国内外行业权威专家、海内外龙头企业代表齐聚顺义。活动设置中欧地理标志协定主论坛、地标精品展览、产业精准对接、商贸洽谈等多项重磅环节，商务部、国家发改委、农业农村部等多部委领导莅临现场指导，多方协同聚力，为中欧地理标志产业双向互通与高质量发展赋能献策。

     立足顺义临空经济对外开放的核心区位优势，博览会将充分释放平台效能：一方面，助力国内地理标志产品链接欧洲市场，推动中国特色品牌出海；另一方面，引进欧洲优质地标产品丰富国内消费市场，实现“引进来”与“走出去”双向并举。展会不仅是产品展示交易平台，更是产业对话、资源对接、投资合作的重要载体，将挖掘地理标志产业国际化、品牌化、市场化全新机遇，为中欧经贸务实合作注入强劲动能。

  10 Days to Go | Ready for the Grand Event!The 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo Is Coming to Shunyi

Only 10 days remain until the opening of the 2nd International Geographical Indication Products Expo and China-EU Geographical Indications Agreement Forum!

With the grand event just around the corner, preparations have entered the final stage. Guest invitations, exhibition hall construction, booth setup, business matchmaking, forum arrangements, media outreach and other key preparations are all moving forward at full speed. This high-level international event, which carries an important mission of promoting China-EU economic and trade cooperation, will take place on September 19 at the Guoce International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shunyi, Beijing.

This year’s Expo coincides with two important milestones: the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU and the fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the China-EU Geographical Indications Agreement. Hosted by the China-Europe Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation (CEATEC), with key support from the Delegation of the European Union to China, the Embassy of Ireland in China, and the Embassy of Croatia in China, the Expo will serve as a major platform for China-EU economic and trade exchanges in the field of geographical indications, carrying significant practical importance and long-term value.

As a landmark trade achievement between China and the EU, the China-EU Geographical Indications Agreement provides high-level intellectual property protection for hundreds of distinctive GI products from both sides and promotes greater connectivity between their specialty industries. The Expo serves as an important platform for the implementation of the Agreement. It is not only a showcase for high-quality GI products and brands from China and Europe, but also an important bridge for strengthening industrial cooperation, trade exchanges and people-to-people ties between the two sides. By facilitating the two-way circulation of GI products between China and Europe, the Expo will help businesses from China and abroad explore new markets and contribute to the high-quality development of related industries.

This year’s Expo marks a significant upgrade in both scale and profile, with Ireland and Croatia making their debut as the two Guest Countries of Honour. Covering approximately 2,700 square meters, the Expo will feature four distinctive themed exhibition areas: the Ireland Pavilion, Croatia Pavilion, Shunyi Featured Products Pavilion, and EU Pavilion, bringing together more than 1,000 high-quality GI products from around the world.

Representatives from diplomatic missions in China, relevant government departments, leading experts and scholars from China and abroad, and representatives of major enterprises from both domestic and international markets will gather in Shunyi for the event. The Expo will feature a series of major activities, including the China-EU Geographical Indications Agreement Main Forum, GI Product Exhibition, Targeted Industry Matchmaking, and Business and Trade Negotiations. Officials from the Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other government departments will attend and provide guidance. Through joint efforts among multiple stakeholders, the event will contribute expertise and momentum to greater cooperation and high-quality development in the China-EU GI sector.

Building on Shunyi’s strategic location and its advantages as a core area for Beijing’s airport-based economy and opening-up, the Expo will make full use of its platform function. On the one hand, it will help connect Chinese GI products with European markets and support the international expansion of Chinese brands. On the other hand, it will introduce high-quality European GI products to the Chinese market, promoting a two-way flow of products and opportunities between China and Europe.

The Expo is more than a platform for product display and trade. It will also provide an important platform for industry dialogue, resource matchmaking, investment and cooperation, opening up new opportunities for the internationalization, branding and market development of the GI sector, and injecting fresh momentum into practical China-EU economic and trade cooperation.
